2019 Gordon Bennett Irish Classic Car Run
Open to cars 30 years old or over

This run is in its 16th year and we commemorate the historic Gordon Bennett motor race of 1903 held in Ireland. It is a 4 day festival with differing routes and schedules each day, and some evening entertainment.

We retrace the Gordon Bennett route on the Sunday with various picturesque stops along the way, the route is 95% still intact and is seen as the forerunner of the modern grand prix as it was the very first closed loop motor race to be held, it is the 'race that saved motorsport'.

The event is establishing itself as one of the 'must do' classic car rallies on the Oldtimer/Classic car schedule, and we attract many visitors from the UK.
